About LJ Williams & Associates

L J Williams & Associates was established by Laurie Williams in 1991 to service the recruitment needs of retail new car dealers and related automotive businesses. With almost 20 years experience in the retail dealership after sales areas, Laurie had a sound understanding of the special needs and idiosyncrasies of this industry.
Initially L J Williams & Associates established a network of interstate offices, covering the eastern states and South Australia, and during this period L J Williams & Associates were instrumental in promoting the concept of outsourcing professional recruitment services to the retail automotive sector.
In the mid 90’s Laurie decided to relinquish his interest in the interstate offices and focus his attention on metro Melbourne and country Victoria. An informal multi state network still exists as the Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide offices are now owned and operated by Laurie’s former business partners.
L J Williams & Associates’ philosophy is based on providing recruitment and placement solutions in a simple, cost effective, honest and totally ethical manner. Many of our clients have been dealing with us for over 10 years. We value or candidates and employer clients equally and believe that strong trusting relationships with both parties are essential to obtain successful outcomes.
