The employer

A supplier of specialised products to the building industry. They deal with the majority of large builders in Victoria covering projects of all sizes.

Included in their product range are custom made-to-measure wardrobes, shower screens, mirrors, and glass splashbacks.

About the role

The Multi-unit Development Specialist reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for identifying and securing sales opportunities with multi-unit development builders, and ensuring they receive the highest levels of service and support.

Duties include

  • Make appointments to meet with potential multi unit development builders to establish a relationship and gain opportunities to tender for upcoming projects.

  • Attend client meetings with Site Supervisors, Constructions Managers to address and remedy any concerns or issues they may be experiencing.

  • Provide customers with information on new products or updates to existing lines.

  • Report to and work with the Sales Manager to address any customer issues.

Location, hours and remuneration

This role is based at the company’s Head Office facility in the Western suburbs, but will require travel to customers’ offices throughout Melbourne.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm although some flexibility is required for meetings that may fall outside of these times.

We will negotiate an attractive salary package including car or car allowance to secure the right person.
