CMI Hino Melbourne has been providing dedicated sales and aftersales support for their growing Hino truck & bus customer base in Derrimut and the surrounding area since 1992. About the role

You will be responsible for all aspects of the dealership’s busy parts operations including:

• Leadership, training and mentoring of parts dept team members

• Strategic business analysis and planning

• Logistics, storage and inventory management

• Sales to internal and external customers

• Achievement of agreed targets and objectives as set by the business and the manufacturer

The person we seek

We are looking for a competent automotive parts business manager with exceptional people skills and leadership abilities; preferably with a new vehicle retail dealership background.

Exposure to commercial vehicles would be favourably regarded; but we also encourage applicants from other automotive parts areas including passenger vehicles.

Required attributes, skills and experience

• A proven Parts Manager (or 2IC with people management skills)

• A great communicator who can deal effectively with parts dept team members, other dealership departments and managers, customers, suppliers

• An organised manager with a continuous improvement mindset

• Commercially astute with strong business acumen

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated to secure the right person for this important role. This will comprise salary + commission + super + car. (potential $150K+)
