The employer is a large family-owned company with a strong Fleet management division which operates nationally and services trucks, trailers, and related equipment for many large business operations across different industry sectors.

About the role

We need an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technicians / Mechanics to join a small, close knit and friendly team working from our fleet management workshops in VIC, NSW and QLD. Here you will be required to undertake the service and maintenance requirements of all on-site customer fleet vehicles whilst providing excellent customer service.

What you need:

• Qualifications - Minimum Cert 3 Mechanical trade certificate - prefer with experience in Heavy Vehicle industry but will also consider Light Vehicle Mechanics looking for a career change

• Skills - Good diagnostic ability with welding and fabrication experience beneficial

• Interpersonal - Ability to work without constant supervision, and communicate effectively with fellow colleagues, customers and drivers

• Focus - High level of attention to detail and customer focus

• Licences - Current HC drivers licence desirable but not essential

• Tools - Own tools
