About VMR Truck Parts

VMR Truck Parts is an established business recently acquired by CMV Truck & Bus. The business specialises in the sale of reconditioned, remanufactured and used parts, suitable for Mack Trucks, UD Trucks and Volvo Trucks and Buses. It is currently being relocated to modern premises in Cooper Street Epping.

About the role

Although we will be transferring a number existing staff to hold key positions in the new business, we need an additional Parts Interpreter to complete the team and help make this operation a success.

The person we seek

We need someone with previous experience in a similar role, although not necessarily with commercial vehicles. Applicants from passenger car or aftermarket parts environments are encouraged to apply.

Ideally you will have a reasonable level of mechanical knowledge and understanding, strong numeracy skills and computer literacy, plus an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling parts sales and enquiries

  • Preparing accurate and timely parts quotations as required

  • Processing orders efficiently and accurately (right first time)

  • Promoting and up-selling products whenever possible

  • Maintain positive relationships with all customers and deliver first class service
