About the role

Based at the group’s modern western suburbs dealership, the primary purpose of this position is to manage the operations of the Service Department for the PM Shift. (3:00pm-12:00am)

This will involve:

  • The day to day planning and control of the department

  • Increasing efficiencies

  • Achieving strategic financial and operational performance targets

  • Promoting high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting all customer commitments

  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest quality standards

Demonstrated skills required for the role

  • Effective leadership skills with previously demonstrated supervisor / management experience - essential.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to handle high pressure situations whilst liaising with a variety of key stakeholders.

  • Passionate about customer service and satisfaction with sound knowledge of the automotive industry including service operations.

  • Sound computer, commercial acumen and marketing skills.

  • Must hold a HR licence and relevant trade certificate.

Ideally, candidates will be proven automotive Service Managers from the heavy vehicle sector, however we will also consider applicants who are currently at Workshop Supervisor level and wish to advance their career.
