The opportunity
In this exciting and newly created role you will lead and oversee the Training Institute and its associated functions.
Originally established as a dedicated technical training centre to deliver fast tracked apprenticeships and technical product training, this operation is being expanded into a fully fledged training institute that will provide:
Technical Training including apprenticeships
Learning and development co-ordination for all roles across the business
The training and uptake of Lean for Retail concepts
Driver and fuel watch coaching
The person we seek
The ideal candidate will be a senior manager with a solid understanding of heavy road transport, and offer:
Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle technical, education and training, business, or a related field
Knowledge of business practices and experience managing an RTO
Understanding of the relevant frameworks and standards requirements for accredited training providers
Desirable experience and personal attributes
We need a strong manager with:
A high level of personal integrity and exceptional communication skills
The ability to build quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as TAFE, employers, customers, suppliers,
Experience managing people, recruitment, employee development, and performance management
Proven background developing and delivering quality training
A commitment to quality systems, continuous improvement and compliance
