A Site Supervisor is required to lead and operate a fleet management sites in Quoiba TAS.
Site Supervisor job profile
As site supervisor you will lead and supervise a small team of technicians. In this hands-on role you will use your excellent mechanical knowledge and skills to lead the way and ensure all vehicles are scheduled and serviced on time, to the highest standards; whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with drivers and all customer representatives.
For this opportunity we will consider experienced Supervisors and ambitious Truck Technicians looking to advance their career.
Work hours
Hours will alternate between early (6am-2pm) and late (10am-6pm) start shifts.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage all onsite employees by providing support, guidance and leading by example
Carry out all fleet service and maintenance requirements ensuring that work is completed to the highest quality standards, fully and efficiently the first time
Supervise and assist technicians with the daily service routine
Partake in the on-call roster for breakdowns
Ensure all vehicles are scheduled in line with the site operation and that technicians produce clear and concise reports detailing all work carried out
Complete daily administration duties including preparing invoices for costing
Maintain a safe workshop area by practicing and promoting all OHS regulations ensuring standard operating procedures are adhered to
Work as part of a team to maintain company standards for productivity, technician efficiency and recovery rates
Required qualifications, skills and attributes
Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician with required trade certificate / qualification
Previous supervision & scheduling skills / experience an advantage
Current HR & HC licence
Excellent ability to impart acquired knowledge to other technicians
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
Attention to detail with a customer focus
