A long established market leader, this company provides heavy vehicle power steering and commercial vehicle power steering products to OEM and aftermarket customers.

The company has headquarters in Melbourne with branches in VIC, NSW, WA and QLD.

About the Role

Based at the company’s Sydney Branch in Wetherill Park, we require a mechanic / fitter to accurately diagnose faults, and remove and repair steering gears and pumps.

The Person we seek

We need an enthusiastic and reliable person who takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about the customer experience.

Proven experience in an automotive / mechanical fitter role is highly desirable.

Tools and specialist product training provided. Immediate start!

Required attributes, skills and experience

• Permanent and unrestricted Australian work rights

• Proven hands-on mechanical background

• Attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Ability to work without constant supervision

• Able to communicate effectively with customers and workshop team

• Intermediate level computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Drivers licence with a clean driving record (HR or MC licence desirable for road testing purposes)
