About the role
In this role you will join the Parts Department team who are focussed on supplying their internal and external customers with the correct parts in an efficient and timely manner. Specific duties will include assistance with the receiving, picking, dispatching and delivery of parts.
The person we seek
For this role we will consider applicants with current auto parts / warehouse experience, PLUS candidates without previous experience, but who offer the right attitudes and want a career, not just a job.
Possible career paths for suitable candidates
In addition to acquiring valuable skills and experience in all warehouse related functions, the right people could eventually be considered to undertake formal training as an Automotive Parts Interpreter which would open up further career options including Sales.
Applicants with existing warehouse skills will be trained in the company’s procedures and processes and will, over time, acquire further specialist product knowledge to broaden their skillset.
Required attributes, skills and experience
Previous experience in automotive spare parts interpreting and / or warehousing preferred but not essential
Strong customer service focus with good communication skills
Good level of computer literacy and ability
Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
Friendly, positive, can-do attitude
Forklift licence preferred but not essential
Current drivers licence
Able to work Saturday mornings on a rotating roster
